With the present partnership, all partners are going to co-operate on activities that relate to Health and the Promotion of Health.
The year 2009-2010 is going to be dedicated to the issues of Healthy Diet and Exercising and how these two can lead to the formation of healthy attitudes by students and/or to the alteration of already existing ones. Furthermore, there will be a promotion of understanding the differences between all partners(different languages, cultures or religions) , in what extend these differences affect their Diet and Lifestyle and how all these differences can be incorporated in the same working team. Our motto: ”All different, all equal”.
During the year 2010-2011, there are going to be activities related to the Prevention of Accidents, also to the Prevention from using Addictive Substances (alcohol, smoking) through the development of psychic-health abilities, and to the confrontation of Emergency Situations (earthquakes, fires, floods) at school, in the streets and at home, as well as, to First Aid awareness in emergency situations.
With the joint work, pupils and teachers are going to learn ways to protect themselves from accidents and to confront Emergency Situations. Furthermore, it will be a chance for everybody (pupils, teachers, parents, local society) to realise that Health is a gift that we, people, should protect it by using our minds and by finding ways to educate and form Healthy examples to the younger ones. And this project IS such a way!
After all, let’s keep in mind that the ultimate target of Health Education is the promotion, the defence and the improvement of the level of general health through, mainly, Prevention.
